I completed an income tax return for 2020 just before November deadline last year. I did this to claim tax relief on pension contributions I made in 2020. I still haven't gotten my statement of liability, if I click on it, it just says 'We are processing your most recent request. Your Statement of Liability will be available shortly'. Is that normal that it takes that long for them to process an income tax return?

After dozens of messages on myAccount over many months of last year about the error that happens every time that I try to access my 2020 details I've given up and have admitted defeat and will just have to assume that my affairs are in order for that year. 
That's a bit worrying. As far as I recall they balanced things for that year after I submitted medical expenses and other stuff and I got the money back but, to this day, I still can't check my 2020 records because it always generates a meaningless error message and logs me out and I have never been able to get them to fix it...
