Starting some Freelance work

I'm due to go back to college in September. Been on social welfare the last couple of months since my contract ended at my last job. Finally found some freelance work. In a couple of weeks I'll be working from home for 20 hours a week for one company, earning around 11.40 an hour. I'll also be doing bits of writing here and there for another company starting in a few weeks, which will probably come to €80 or so a month.

I've no idea what to do as regards tax. I'll be signing off social welfare next week, but I want to pay my taxes the right way. Do I pay per week or do I pay in October?

I'll be going to an accountant once I've saved a bit of money, but just want to make sure I'm not breaking any laws or anything once I do start getting paid.

I'll only be starting both jobs in the next few weeks but if I had to guess, around €4000.
