'Start Mortgage' -Anyone used them?

Hi Folks,
Apologies if this is duplicated here somewhere. Have done a search and couldn't find anything.
I've been talking to a broker and because my credit history is shaky, they've suggested talking to a company called 'start mortgages'. I've done a bit of research into them, but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience of dealing with them?

I've dealt with them a few times as solicitor for the borrower. A Derry based firm, the interest rate would be slightly higher I think, and they charge an arrangement fee ( about € 300). Found them to be efficient from my end.
