Hello, recently bought a house which has a stanley stove with a back boiler as follows:

We also have an oil burner that works perfectly fine, heats all the radiators and the water. The problem we have is the stove does not seem to heat the radiators and only the water became luke warm. The fire was lit for over 6 hours and was blazing.

Behind the stove there is a thermal switch and the circulation pump as follows:

The dial on the thermostat was set to 60 degrees, if I lower the switch to 30 degrees the pump begins to vibrate. It turns off if I raise the dial to 60 degrees. Does anyone have any ideas why the stove would not be heating the radiators? There are 3 pipes behind the stove and all 3 were very hot but none of it seeming to reach the radiators. I tried messing with the thermostat but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated!

Do any of the radiators get really hot when you first circulate the water from the stove boiler?

Any sound coming from the circulation pump and is the bottom of it HOT after you put it working?

Yeah there is definitely a noticeable sound and if I put my hand to it, it is vibrating and it is noticeably warm at the bottom
