Standard rate of tax

Hi I have a question similar to a previous poster. I work, my husband does not. we both have rental income. If I earn more by becoming full time will our rental income be considered for the increase 20 per cent tax rate. Or do both husband and wife have to be paye. Thank you so much.

PS I also receive an arf income.

Your total income or incomes are used to calculate your tax

The profit from your rental property is taxed, not the income - there are certain allowable expenses you can deduct from the rental income to calculate your rental profit.
