B Bambo Registered User Messages 57 6 Nov 2006 #2 Unfortunately stamp duty is treated seperately to the mortgage. The bank will lend you up to 100% of the purchase price of the house. So, if house is 350k plus stamp duty, the max they will lend you is 350k.
