I am currently trying to calculate my tax to see if I am due a refund for 2013. I have a question regards the SRCOP. My wife and I share our tax credits and SRCOP.
I took the full amount of SRCOP allowable as I am the main earner. However I was unemployed for a short time this year and the tax credits and SRCOP were reduced accordingly.
Does the SRCOP allocated to me (€41800) reduce as well as the total amount (65K)? My wife does not earn enough to use all of the remaining SRCOP .
Please advise.
