Heard about the new PS2 thin size and was thinking of buying one for the nephews but was told by their Mother, my Big Sis that these where recalled ??

Anyone hear this ?

Also where is the best / cheapest place to buy PS2 in Dublin

Looking to do the same.
Smyth's have some good bundles including games i.e.
New PS2 (or old one), extra controller and games, Incredibles and Sonic Heroes for 199.99 Euro.
or New PS2 with 3 games from the 2 for 50 range for same price (can't remember if it includes another controller or not).
Argos also have a good offer PS2, STEERING WHEEL, Driving game for 179.99.

Smyth's offers are not on their website.

There is also [broken link removed] I was in the one in Liffey Valley the other night and they had some PS2 offers, I cant remember what they were so mabye give them a shout.

There are some good deals on xboxs too in argos and gamestop. Its a personal choce but it probably has more life in it as its the more powerful system. But it depends on what his mates have so they can swap games.
