Can anyone recommend anything? Its in the bathroom on the wall and ceiling.

Dettol Mould & Mildew Remover. Trigger spray application, leave it on, wipe it off.

I used a damp cloth on our ceiling and it came off straight away, nothing on the cloth

You should sort out the cause first - don't let the room get so damp - install ventilation - a fan, vent in a window etc... Deal with the cause, not the symptoms!

The cause will take a while to fix but I need to get rid of it before it eats into the ceiling.

Did you read the other threads? A dehumidifyer is very usefull.

Not an option dont have the cash. Got a few good answers from other post so thanks everyone.
