My current solicitor has informed me that he will be unable to handle the dealing of the builders contract & the Stage Payments, due to High priority cases comming up.
We have bought the site over 6 mnths ago and from that point of view things are sorted, stamp duty on site & solicitor paid.
My questions is - We've received a contract from the builder (CIF draft contract I've seen mentioned here before), and we need the new solicitor to look at it, see if it's ok, and then handle the stage payments.
How much roughly should I be charged for this work ?
