Sole Trader or Limited Co.

Hi there,
I am looking for advice on the setting up of a new company. I am going looking at setting up a business providing a consultancy service. What would the best route be to go? A limited company or a sole trader?
I can give more information if required

Thanks dermotk. But with a sole trader are you in danger of being sued personally and having full liability, if God Firbide anything were to go wrong?
