Sole Trader Expenses

Hi All,

I am a PAYE worker who also does some work in my spare time as a sole-trader..

Just a quick query. As part of my sole-trader work, I've incurred some expenses, namely...

- Petrol expenses for travel down the country for work purposes
- Flights to England to meet with client

Just wondering if these will be tax deductible come the end of the year (I have an accountant lined up but would just like to get a heads-up on this)...
