Could anybody recommend the best software to get so as my daughter cannot access unapproprite websites? Somebody mentioned netnanny but is there better software out there for this purpose?
You might want to try Naomi. You can download it and get further info at [broken link removed] It's free which means you don't incur any expense to see if it's effective or not. Bear in mind that most net filtering software is pretty crude in it's approach and nothing will guarantee that your child will not be able to access all inappropriate sites.
Put the PC in the kitchen, and track what they are looking at. We try and block stuff at work and its a endless task, and theres nearly always a workaround. Haven't tried anything like a net nanny at home yet.
