social welfare payment in 2009

Hi

I need to submit a form 11, I had a business that went belly up and only traded for a few months. I made a small profit of 5k I also got a social welfare payment for the remaining months of the year. My question is do I combine the profit and social welfare payment together and pay tax on it.

Also am i entitled to both tax credits the paye tax credit and the personal tax credit or just the personal tax credit.
