Smart Telecom broadband problem

I am 6 months into a 12 month broadband contract with Smart Telecom and I am moving house next week. Since I have had no problems with Smart in the past I wanted to continue using their service. However when I called them I was told that they don't provide a service to where I'm moving to (Glasnevin, Dublin 11...hardly the middle of nowhere!) and that I will have to pay a lump sum of the remainder of my contract - about €270! This seems completely outrageous and unfair.
