Small renovations Kildare

I hope it's okay to look for a recommendation but I have just bought an apartment that needs some TLC.
I need internal insulation, new bathroom and bathroom tiling, new kitchen, and new wardrobes.
I have received two quotes so far, both from big renovation/building companies, but I am wondering if anyone would know of someone in the Kildare (more specifically Naas) area who might be work on a smaller scale and smaller budget also! It is a tiny two bed apartment, and what I am being quoted seems very expensive.

I would appreciate any tips or advice that people can offer.
 
Hi Spud,

I would be inclined to split the works into 3 stages;

Firstly, a plasterer to price for insulation & skimming works.

Secondly, assuming you already know which kitchen you want (some suppliers also supply wardrobes/sliderobes, etc) an experienced kitchen installer who can also install the wardrobes.

Thirdly, a plumber to install (& supply if needed) the bathroom - and who can also disconnect & re-connect the various kitchen appliances, once the kitchen is ready to go in.. Plumber will always have a good tiler if you don't have one already.
