Small 'other' Pension - how best to invest

Hi all,

I am a public servant in the single scheme. Upon retirement I will have circa 35yrs service. I have a small pension from a previous employer (via Zurich) of approx. 20,000e. Currently the asset mix is 61% Equity, 34% Bonds and 5% cash.

I'm 35yrs old so plenty of time to go until retirement however my financial knowledge is very limited. Is this asset mix favorable in my position?

I'd go 100% Global Equities in your situation. Plenty of time to ride out a market dip which will recover in less than 3 years.

Agree with @Flybytheseat on the investment content.

Check also what the annual charge is on the fund at present. Even a small improvement on that can mount up with compounding over 25+ years.
