Small bedroom storage solutions

Wonder would you get any tips on [broken link removed]

Cheers for that Sue Ellen, we will have a look through it.....I have several baskets which my company got from Tesco, I don't know if you know them but I think I can also make use of them.

What about those beds that can be folded up against the wall during the day. There are storage units on each side of them. They are very expensive if you get them installed but you can instal them yourself if you're that way inclined. They are touted for bedrooms that need to be used as offices as well.

I mean a study desk that is large enough but can be raised vertically when not been used. (create more floor space).

I think the first is closer to what you want - it's just a wall mounted table.

But I know if I'd one of these, it would just stay down all the time.

I've been considering something close to this:

- For a laptop. But not really suitable for someone with books out.

I consider it something of a challenge to fit as much as efficiently as possible in to a small room - while keeping it look good!

Just what I was looking for, the 1st one as above, only now that I have the idea I might attempt to make it myself

Now if I'd a spare room I'd love something like this:

Not sure it would work as a room someone was always going to use, but kinda cool to look at.

Yes, I have ripped apart the chest of drawers & have them now set up under the bed on castors.

I hate the idea of storing clothes under the floor boards. It definately would want to be liquid & dust proof

Small bedroom solutions which I will adopt, not all done yet.

1. Chest of drawers under the bed on castors/wheels - Done
2. Wall mounted shelving over the bed - Done
3. Wall mounted shelving over the desk & door - Not Done
4. Original wardrobe cut in half, mount 2 hanger support hanger bars, therefore double the storage again. - Done
5. Radiator cover provides additional shelving - Not done
6. Hooks to back of the door for jackets - Not done

I will post any additional ideas that spring to mind.
