Skyscanner - for flights and hotels

Planning a trip to NYC in September and was browsing Skyscanner. The prices looked good so I was just wondering if anyone has used them for both flights and hotels.
2 adults for 3 / 4 nights.
Any thoughts welcome.

They're one of the worlds largest flight booking sites.
Always check and compare direct with the airline sites as well

You don't actually book through skyscrapers themselves though, they're a scraper site. They refer you on to a booking site.
I've had no problems booking through the sites I've been referred to from Skyscanners including a couple of sites I hadn't heard of before.
Sometimes, especially if you're doing multi-city trips it can be useful to check out the ITA Matrix for other flight options, you can't book through this site either but it can help identify routings that might not appear on other sites.

I was just "test" booking flights and Skyscanner came back with one operator flying to JFK and returning to Ireland with a different operator. It was Ar Lingue out and Delta back.
Will look into into more but thanks for the replies so far.
