A few of us with kiddies are thinking of going skiing in march time. Having a few going we are hoping will facilitate baby sitting so every other day we can go out on the slopes. Having never been just wondering if anyone thinks this would be possible?
Just wondering if anyone would know of any good hotels/resorts with good accommodation close to some shops etc for day time with kids.
TIA

Re: Skiing with baby's....which resort/accommodation

Hi there,
We go skiing every year with family (Sisters and Brothers in law) who have children. Have you looked at Crystal 4331080. As they have club hotel and these are very family friendly - most of the offer child minding facilities and pick ups at additional cost...

I have no connection to Crystal BTW - other than customer

You would need to give some idea of the number and ages of the children and the number of adults to get good advice.

We have been with our children for the last few years and it has worked out well each time, but we have always had someone who is more than happy to float about the town/middle station and mind the kids as necessary for a bit. Each of the parents would also normally take a half day from the skiing on one or more days and help out with the children.

Our kids have been in ski school since they were 5ish, so if your kids are around that age then you should be able to put them in school and they can have fun all day. If you go down this route, then you can probably forget about doing group classes yourself since by the time you get the kids to the class, sorted out, settled down, etc . . . your class may already have headed up the slopes and you can't find them. It didn't matter to us since we just spent the mornings doing our own skiing.
