sinister e mail

hi guys,am not very computer literate so i might not be explaining this to well,i have an e mail that has appeared at the bottom of my eircom webmail a couple of months ago,it is in bold black print compared to rest of my emails and says,01/01/1970-(no from) no subject,have not opened it and every time i try to move it to trash it just stays there.
 
Just sounds like badly contracted spam, or a glitch on your mailbox.

1/1/70 just means they was no date information on it.

If its webmail based colm's link might be of limited relevance as it deals with outlook express on a local windows-based host.

Contact your eircom service provider and seek his advice.

Problems on your local machine should be dealt with by an appropriate firewall and anti-virus solution.
