I am currently receiving job seekers benefit having been made redundant from my job. I am starting a new job next week for 20 hours a week. Will I be able to sign on for the days I am not working?
You just need to tell SW about your change in circumstances and see what they say about how it affects your claim. You might be able to work this out yourself using the information here.
If you are working those 20 hrs a week over 3 days or less you may still quailify for some sort of Jobseekers Benefit. You must be unemployed at least 3 days out of every 6.
