Signing Contracts Tomorrow

Hi,
Im a FTB signing contracts on a house tomorrow. Previously it was rented out to 5 lads and there are bunk beds and junk everywhere. I dont want to have to pay for a skip to remove all this. Can i specify to my solicitor that I want all of it removed before i move in. Can those sort of provisions be written into the contract. Or ask for the price of a skip etc.

Of course they can, tell your solicitor you don't want anything in the house. He should make a note of it in the contracts which he is sending to the vendor to sign !!! Make sure he puts it in! I just bought my house and there was a load of crap in it and once it's in the contract they have to get rid of it
