Is it possible to defer/cancel a signed contract?
Our business signed up for an Employment Law/Health & Safety Agreement with a well known Company(on the day the Sales Consultant visited).
With hindsight we should not have been so hasty.
No monies have changed hands. We have asked for a deferral for six months. The Company is now saying that there is no provision for deferring or cancelling the contract...it is for an initial period of five years.
Can we be forced to honour the signed contract?
