Hi all,
Have an electric shower a mire elite.
Lately the heat of the water has started to increase decrease a lot when having a shower.
Just wondering is it time to replace the shower and if so would I just need a plumber and not a spark as I am happy to get the exact same shower as a replacement.
Or would it be practical to just repair the shower I have?
Any advice much appreciated.

Irish Garden your a star that sounds like a perfect solution.
Its my parents shower so will head over there tomorrow armed with vinegar and hopefully should be in the good books for a while.
Cheers

Had a look inside shower presume the last thing the water leaves is the filter also presuming that the heating element is inside this filter housing.
The only thing inside the shower that looks to me like a sensor seems to be attached to the filter and looks tricky to remove.
Should this just slide out of the filter.
Very vague questions I know but any help appreciated before I just bite the bullet and call in the plumbers.

Thanks Davyjones problem was fixed filter was clogged with attic insulation.
Many thanks

take note posters who sometimes cant understand the prices charged by good tradesmen , davy jones probably just saved this person about 400e.the amount of good showers that are changed every year due to a clogged filter is unbelievable.
