Should I break out of an EBS fixed rate?

I am wondering should I break out of my 1 year fixed in advance of any possible reduction. I rang the other day and they said I can break out for free . I wonder would this change if the svr dropped.

I posted in another thread about breaking out of a fixed rate. How long have you been on fixed for if you don't mind me asking ? We have only drawndown on our mortgage with EBS, I know we are yet to receive cash back but there is a big difference between our rate and the rate for Haven and AIB. I may ring on Monday and see what they say!
