Short term work on JB - Company Director

A friend of mine is on JB (Job Seekers benefit) and also is a Director of a company X. She has been offered a few days work and is planning on subcontracting herself out to the company Y so payment will be made to her Company X and then she'll get the money out of that.

She will need to tell SW about this short term work arrangement. On the form she needs to get the company she is working for to fill out details of her employment. She doesn't want to tell company Y that she is claiming. Can she get her business partner to fill out the form because in effect she is working for her own company and then sub contracting out.

I hope this is not confusing, any advice, thanks!

She cannot claim for any days she is not unemployed and she is obliged to tell SW of any changes in her circumstances so, yes, she should inform SW; they'll keep her right.
