I have a shared ownership now in MARP process as I have an unstainable mortgage. Working only 3 days a week and income greatly reduced since I first took out mortgage (2006).
Have a pensioner partner now and we are considering getting married.
I wonder if we do get married will he be considered responsible for my mortgage? I obviously do not have a joint mortgage at the moment.
will his being in the house impact on the rental aspect at the moment I get a subsidy due to my income.
My partner is recently divorced and is on pension but paying spousal maintainence. we are existing. I am paying interest only but cannot see circumstances change to enable me to resume full mortgage payments.
Would appreciate any advise, thoughts etc.
