HI,

Just wondering if you have to declare cash depsoits and DIRT tax paid against those deposits on your annual tax return considering that the DIRT has been paid at source?

Also are you obliged to declare capital losses (on Shares) and is it realised or un realised losses?

In my case I had RSUs from my company that matured and Iagainst which I paid tax however I had to sell them at a loss later. Do I need to declare the loss and is there any reason/benefit to do that?

I do not have any substantial gains (=less than €1250) to offset against the loss.

thanks.
