Share Consolidation

Hi,
I have bought a number of shares in Corus group over a couple of years and recieved share certificates for them at different prices. On the 9th May this year there was a share consolidation which meant for every 5 shares I hold I would now have 1 share. Last week I recieved one share certificate for all the shares I now own. My question is, I bought all my shares at different prices, when I come to sell them how do I know which shares are being sold as I only have one certificate. What about the issue of tax?

You apportion the original acquisition costs to the consolidated shares according to [broken link removed].
