Share certs lost by stockbroker

Hi All,
I went to sell my shares and posted them to the stockbrokers. Unfortunately, they have lost my shares. The stockbrokers are accepting no responsibility for the lost shares. They will not pay for the reissue. Do I have any comeback or do I have to just accept this and pay for the reisssue of shares?

As long as you sent them by registered post you should be able to make the broker pay
