I am a teacher planning retirement in the next year. Before teaching I worked as a Civil Servant for one year - Department of Post & Telegraphs - 1978 to 1979. I wish to establish whether this year of service can be taken into account in determining total pensionable service. What is the best point of contact to get confirmation of Public Service Record?
