Septic tank

Hi all,
Looking for some advice re: septic tank. My neighbour is considering applying for residential planning on a farm yard shed site next to my house. I'm just curious as to the distance any dwelling would have to be from my septic tank? Is there a minimum or is it based on the type of land drainage etc.

I think its something like septic tanks needed to be a minimum of 7 metres from the dwelling they serve and a minimum of 20 metres from other dwellings. These were the rules for siting of a septic tank, possibly tighter now for any new tanks.

On any drawings he submits for planning however your neighbour is required to indicate the presence of any septic tanks, wells and other buildings within 100 metres of the building he is seeking planning on
