Separation and monies due to revenue

Hi. I currently am cohabiting with my soon to be ex partner. We have never married. We haven’t shared a bed for 3 years but to be honest The main reason is due him owing revenue. Court summons for failure to make payment on credit cards. An investment property gone into receivership. This has been going for years and he will not address it. Won’t talk about despite my many pleads. It sounds cold of me but my mental health has just had it. I can’t do it anymore. The cold question is will I owe any of these debts. Nothing has my name on it except our home. It’s the only repayments we’ve kept up to date.
 
Is it possible that your partner might have forged your signature on any loan that he took out?

No, you’re safe.

If your name isn’t on the Revenue Demand, Revenue won’t come after you.

If your name isn’t on any invoices, contracts or demand letters, you cannot be legally pursued.

There is an old rule as regards household debts, which when owed by one spouse could render the other spouse liable, but this would not apply in your situation.
