SEPA holiday

Nothing to do with the banks, it's the European payment clearing system that's closed. As the article mentioned, banks advised employers, etc., several weeks and asked them to take steps to avoid delays today.
 
Getting the message out there has everything to do with the banks. AIB certainly did not get this message out in a timely basis. A message was sent on the 29th of April on IBB!!
 
a friend of mine was quite upset yesterday when his pension wasn't there to withdraw as normal via atm. did this happen anyone else?
