Selling shares after company acquisition

I have received a share certificate from the company I now work for, which just acquired my previous company. I would like to sell these shares rather than hold on to them. Would you know of the most cost effective way to do this in Ireland? The larger stock brokers seem very expensive and this is a one time transaction that I would like to make.
