Have decided to sell investment property in approx 25k negative equity and no longer be a landlord. Bank have said to put in writing to them. Can clear the balance. Any advise on letter content as dealing with banks is a mind field. Thanks
The solicitor that you appoint to handle the sale will take care of communicating with the bank on your behalf. You will need to put your solicitor "in funds" so that s/he can clear the residual balance for you at the time of the sale closing.
