It's a buyer's market out there - money spent on a good estate agent is money well spent in my opinion. Perhaps if you were selling with websellers.ie about 6 months ago, you'd have no problem shifting in the buying frenzy. The goal-posts have shifted now, and you'll need to incentivise your EA for a timely sale, particularly if your apartment is in a mediocre location in suburban north Dublin. My 2 cents.
