Has anyone got a mortgage for a self build recently. We would require a mortgage to buy the site and build the house. Looking at a site for about 60,000. Have about 10,000 savings at the minute and are presently saving 1,000 euro a month. Will any of the banks give us stage payments to buy the site and build the house?
