Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on which mortgage provider might be best for a self build on my own site. I have been give an acre site and am in the process of selecting a house design, organising an engineer etc. The next step is getting the finance in place. I currently bank with BOI and had a chat to their mortgage advisor who seemed sure i would qualify for more than enough for what i need to build. Are all mortagage providers pretty much the same? or in your experience who have been good or bad to deal with. I dont really want to use a broker. Thanks
