I have just received my renewal from VHI for Company Plan Extra Level 1 and it's gone up by a few hundred to €1,469.38 for me and €481.88 for my 18 month old child.
I think this is very expensive and have been looking on hia.ie to compare with other plans. I want good Out-patient cover especially GP visits; want individual excess low like €1 but don't mind about excess of €75 for hospital; not a priority for private care in private hospitals; want good maternity cover.
I'm finding it hard to come to an opinion on what to lose moving to another plan ... have narrowed it down to PMI 26 12 but would welcome any advice especially from someone with more knowledge than me on these things!
