I have a question that I hope someone can help me with.
I have been fortunate to be offered a secondment with my employer in their offices in the UK. I will remain employed in the Irish company and will travel back and forth to the new company. The details state that i will be paid my extra allowance after the 12 month placement. The extra pay is over 10,000 Euro and I am earning 60k per year. They will pay any UK related taxes incurred.
My question is, will I pay more tax here in Ireland if I was to receive this in one lump payment after the 12 months, than I would pay if I was to receive it monthly?
