Seasonal work

My partner and I are unemployed. He claims job seekers allowance for himself and me plus our 2 children. I have been offered some seasonal work just until Christmas that I would love to take. Its only 15 hrs per week at min wage so I would be coming out with E129.75 a week.

My question is how will this affect our payment from the social. Will we lose some money? How much?

Like I said this job is only temporary and I don't want to end up worse off.

Would be grateful for any advice/input.

Your payment would go down to around €330, from my experience. If you were able to secure 20 per week, you could claim FIS if there was a chance that the position may be extended.
