Hi all, wondering if anyone can help. The seal which fits around the inside of the window of my stove has come off. Has this happened to anyone else? I presume a fire-proof glue would be the best for re-attaching? Any help greatly appreciated.

Most stove shops will sell a thermic glue that can be applied just sand away any dirt/deposits i the grove first then stick and close the door and let set. you can get replacement rope from most shops too. some stoves use a type of gasket rather than rope like the arrow tf90 -70 range go back to the shop where it was bought and they should be able to order it if they dont have it.

The rope seal came off mine after maybe a month, the council replaced it and its been fine since, nearly 2 years later.

Sorry, I live in a council house.

The guys came out, replaced it, and havent had a problem since.

Oh ok, thought it was missing something alright! Got some glue for the rope and it's drying now so fingers crossed. Didn't realise how much I take it for granted!

Yeah you never think!

Looks like I'm following you around Bop - I dont mean to be!

Good luck with Sky+ too!! ;)
