B Birroc Registered User Messages 278 8 Dec 2008 #4 Unibond PVA alright - mixed it 4:1 (it specified 5:1) and spread it using a roller. What exactly does this do ? Should I notice anything ? It was difficult to get the PVA to dilute.

M mathepac Registered User Messages 8,693 8 Dec 2008 #5 Its much easier to put on with a brush. As it loses the water and binds with the concrete, the PVA / water emulsion forms a very thin flexible "skin" that prevents dust rising.
