I read this forum very often, just signed up now so I could respond to this. I can't post a link but you should read the "Are depositors in the firing line?" article on thepost.ie, dated 13th Feb and written by Kathleen Barrington.
Perhaps someone else can post a link. I think the article is relevant, as much as it refers to a single case of amounts in excess of 100k on deposit with a particular Danish bank.
