Saxobank now classifying Investment trusts as ETF’s

I rang Saxobank as I noticed Foreign and Coloniol investment trusts have changed from EQ TO ETF symbol next to name , Saxobank say they are as far as they are concerned an ETF .

This is very confusing now as I moved to investment trusts to avoid ETF’s , if Saxobank class them as ETF’s what will revenue class them as for tax purposes ?

Are other stockbrockers classing them as ETF’s or equities ?
