hey all we have our savings in two seperate credit union accounts. Will this be okay when looking for mortage approval or should we put the money into a bank account.... another thing is if you are buying with a partner how is the monthly mortage repayments usually repaid? can you get half taken from my partners bank account and half taken from my cash sabe account?
thanks as always

As long as you have proof of your savings you don't need to have them all in the same place. It's not possible to take the mortgage payment from two seperate bank accounts but what a lot of couples do is set up a joint bank account for the mortgage and all house related expenses and then pay an agreed amount each into this account per month.

You should set up a joint bank account-there are a few free bank accounts on offer now. This is handy for bills as well as mortgage repayments.
