Sandyford Hall - what's it like?

I'm thinking of buying a 3-bed semi in Sandyford Hall in D18, close to the Glencairn Luas stop - does anyone have any thoughts on this area/estate? Seemed like a fairly regular estate when we went to view, would obviously be looking to avoid anywhere with anti-social behavior problems or which is very isolated, which Sandyford Hall doesn't seem to be.

Hi I have lived in sandyford hall for about 20 years now its a nice estate fairly quite most of the original families from the estate children are all grown up but there's a few new family's with small children. The only anti social behavior is from the social housing in belermine and akiens village where there is quite a lot.there is also a huge number of children so maybe in a few years there could be problems.the only people who cause problems in sandyford hall are from belermine or down the road in ballyogan, the guards and fire birgade where up twice last week and arrested a youth who set a to let sign on fire and smashed the front windows of extra vision in,there has been a few drug related raids by garda in belermine and akiens village and someone was shot about 2 years ago in front of his son which was gang related.
