Sand blasting a pane of glass, cost?

Hi

I have a huge pane of glass by my front door. For privacy's sake I want to have it sand blasted.

Has anyone any idea of the cost?

Probably a bit naff but would any of the modern sticky sheets (can't think of the proper name at the moment) be worth a try.

it may be cheaper just to get privicy glass panel installed as glass is not overly expensive.

I also assume that it would be very hard to clean the glass afterwards as anytime I have seen sandblasted it was on the inside of a double glazed unit.
